Why keep a Journal?
Welcome beautiful soul. I cannot even begin to sing this simple activities’ praises enough. It is something that I have been doing for as long as I can remember and something that always came naturally to me.
Journaling is a powerful but simple tool, once you start doing it, you will realise that it will become a necessary part of your life. Not only does journaling help you to unload the clutter that is running around in your head, first thing in the morning, but it also gets you to work on a deep level within yourself internally, mentally, and spiritually. It is a powerful way to start your day documenting where you are at that time. It is a powerful tool of releasing the mind clutter that you wake up with.

Grabbing your journal in the morning, soon after you wake up is a great way to start your path to self-healing, it releases all the luggage from the day before. We often wake up with so much stuff from the previous day that getting up and just writing is a powerful way to start your day. It is also a powerful way to document your dream world activities. This is especially useful for your spiritual growth if you are someone who has messages coming through.
Journaling is your sacred space of reflection. Wherever you are at that moment in time, gets documented in your journal. It could be anything, from dreams to spiritual experiences, things you are grateful for, worries, life plans to where you want to be. See your journal as your best friend, a confidant and even a guide. This is your sacred space of reflection unfiltered. This is your tool of healing and guidance.
Journaling helps you to take a deeper look within yourself and your life and make the changes and observations necessary for a better existence. It is a brilliant aid for manifesting and for working on a positive and healthy mindset. It is a beautiful way to heal without you realising just how much work you are putting in. You identify and strengthen muscles you do not normally use. Journaling helps you to focus on you, on an energetic level.
When you make Journaling a part of your everyday life, especially as part of your morning routine, you will see huge benefits. That empowered part of yourself that has been sleeping, wakes up and works with you to living your best life. You focus less on the stresses of life and how they are affecting you. You will see yourself focusing on and finding solutions to maintaining a healthy mindset and way of living. All the fear and what normally weighs you down, will not feel as heavy. Why because you are consistently working on releasing, reflecting, daring to dream, noticing and most of all daring to trust.
Journaling is simple to do. There is no right or wrong way of journaling. Just write with no control, let it all flow out onto the page. Let whatever you wake up with go and you will see huge benefits. Keep the journal near your bedside, so that you can easily get to it in the morning. And as you wake and before even looking at your phone, grab your journal and write, even if it’s a few lines. Do this every morning and make it a part of your morning routine. You will be surprised at the results.
